Expo is very expensive in my area. If you are remodeling, why don't you ask for contractor prices and shop at one store for the best deal?

buy cheap tile and cheap is what you get. buy extra so when you cheap shit breaks you don't have to replace the whole floor. cheap bastard. get your deal you'll pay extra later. just pay for what you want. nothing is cheaper than home depot. they have the flimsiest cheap ass tile.

I live in St. Louis, and if I could find that house here for $950, I'd move in tomorrow. Is North Hollywood a lousy neighborhood? A jaccuzzi...holy cow.

LJB Products in Glendora, CA. 626-335-9427 Talk to Lonnie. I purchased about 900 sq. ft. of wood laminate flooring from him a few months ago. It was .95 per lin. ft. He's a real nice guy to work with. If you fax him a drawing with your measurements, he'll tell you how much you need, how much to allow for waste, what kind of transitions you need, etc.

Lowe's or Home Depot is offering a whole house full of carpet for 199 right now. They also have great deals on tile and wood. They also can install. The other trick for inexpensive work is getting a design student to do it for little or nothing for their portfolio. I don't know where you live, but it's an idea. Of course you still have to pay for everything but then you'd have someone handling the project and they'd have some idea's and know where to go to get good deals. Ask the prof. who they'd recommend.
